Happy New Year!

Can you believe it's already the 12th day of the New Year??!!

Did you pick a word of focus for the new year? I did. I don't know when I started doing this, but I love that God gives me a focus each year in which I intentionally direct my life and activities toward.

My word this year is "MOVE!" Maybe not so much as a yell, Ha!, but definitely a call to action. I don't know why God laid this word on my spirit for 2025, but it addresses everything I'm wanting to happen. Faith without WORKS is dead (Read James 2:14-26 when you have a moment). In other words, believing is just not enough. There HAS to be action.

But, this is two-fold. How does God define "faith" in Hebrews 11:1? Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Get this, if faith is dead without works, hope is also dead. Stay with me here...the substance of hope is faith, right? And, faith is also our evidence of what we do not yet see. So, if we have no works applied to our faith our faith is not justifiable and therefore dead, which makes our hope dead and even our evidence dead.

So get moving y'all! If God has placed something in your spirit, move as if God is who he says he is--even if you do not yet see the end result. Your faith is your evidence of fruition.
